Bead Star Contest Finalist 2012 Ceramics Category

I was so happy to find out that I was a finalist in one of the categories in the Bead Star Contest again this year! Two years in a row! This year, my bracelet called, "Sand & Sun Bracelet" was a finalist in the Ceramics category. I didn't win, but I did receive a bunch of votes. I really appreciate all of the support! I found out yesterday that my piece, "Pearls of the Journey," has been selected for the next round of judging in the 2011 Fire Mountain Gems and Beads' Pearls, Organic Beads or Clay Jewelry-Making Contest. Designs will be judged on use of color, design, originality and craftsmanship. Keep your fingers crossed for me! :)
