Jefe's Street Tacos

If you see this food truck, you should get this! Share it with several people. They are called Corpitos Fries and they are so yummy. I'm serious though, share this plate with two other people. Use a fork. Get plenty of napkins. Thank me later. 😁

I love my Booth Location at Heritage Park!

For the past year, my Heritage Park Market Days booth has been right across from the Galvan House. This is a great spot. The house is beautiful and it is the entertainment location. I've met amazing local talent Lady J, Carson Miller The Coastal Cowboy, and Emma James there. Today is the last market of the year here.

Artwalk in Artesian Park at Christmas

I've been an Artwalk vendor since 2011. I love my current booth location in Artesian Park. I hope I can stay in the same spot for 2024. We shall see! Here are some pictures from Friday. I also took a pic of the historical marker.

HEB Tree Lighting & Illuminated Boat Parade

We did a booth at the tree lighting ceremony.  It was so good to see so many families out at Waters Edge Park.  Coco was there and announced that HEB was gifting Communities in Schools $50,000. That is near and dear to my heart as a teacher. We are also an HEB family, so we were very happy to hear this. The tree is 60 feet tall!

Retro Downtown has an ARCADE

So if I go missing, look for me at Retro on Chaparral.  I am absolutely obessed with the arcade and, in particular, the Terminator Salvation game. We've been getting pizza and going to the arcade over there since the Peppermint Lane Christmas Market started. Highlights: Pizza and beer, the arcade with a glass floor with color changing lights, and a rooftop terrace. I am, as I said, obsessed with the Terminator Salvation game, but was super happy to find a Foo Fighters pinball machine there, too. They also have Mario and Pacman. 😍 Last night the 90s music was in full swing. Here are some pics of the floor and a few of the games.

EARRINGS Did you know...

I spend a lot of time thinking about ways to make my jewelry comfortable to wear. I find that a lot of times metals can just bother people, whether they are allergic to the metals themselves or whether the feel of the metal on the skin is just bothersome. By default, I make all of my earrings with NIOBIUM hooks. Niobium is a great choice because it is hypoallergenic and it can take color that looks awesome in designs, but doesn't stain the skin. My copper earrings are all on niobium ear wires, so there is no worry about copper allergy or staining.

Some people prefer posts on their earrings. Posts help with security. I offer an "upgrade" to posts for an additional $3. You can make your selection online or I can switch them out at my booth for you.

I also get requests from people who want to wear earrings, but do not have their ears pierced. I have clip-ons and can switch out the hooks for you. There is an additional $5 charge for the clip-ons. I am so excited about this option. They do not squeeze the ears, but are nice and secure. You can make your selection online or I can switch them out at my booth for you.
