Look! My piece in the Dimension show!

This is an amazing show. The Art Center of Corpus Christi posted photos of the pieces on their website...I took a screenshot of mine.

My Copper Quilt is in!

I am so excited!  I received notification that my piece, Copper Quilt: An American Sampler, was juried in to the Dimension XXXIX exhibit at the Art Center of Corpus Christi.  The exhibit opens October 1st.

Copper Quilt: An American Sampler

By Jennifer
This piece is an homage to the traditional fabric handycrafts in America.  It is entirely made of copper.  Each square was made using a variety of metalwork and wirework techniques .  Other enhancements are torchfire, ink, and acrylic. The center square is a traditional quilting pattern called a Log Cabin design. I used several gauges of sheet copper and copper wire for this piece.
