Corpus Christi Creative Connections is located in Heritage Park in Corpus Christi, Texas. It is the group that puts on the annual Corpus Christi Festival of the Arts every March. I have been lucky to be a part of the Board of the Directors in the last year. Also, as an art vendor, I have been able to show my work not only at the Festival of the Arts, but also the Art in the Park events in Heritage Park. I am going to start posting events on my blog to let everyone know of the great things happening in the Merriman Bobys House, the headquarters for Corpus Christi Creative Connections.
One notable new activity is the quarterly "Artist Speaks" series. It was kicked off by Amado Pena Jr. He was a phenomenal speaker and shared his experiences as an artist with the crowd.
