Well who knew! My Girl Scout Daisy Necklace Project has been floating around on Pinterest as a craft idea for girl scouts and I didn't even know until I got into Pinterest myself. I did a jewelry badge workshop a couple of years back and developed a project in honor of the Girl Scout founder that incorporated knots the girls recently learned at camp and a "daisy" bead weaving design. We have been quite busy recently! I gave a little workshop to a group of 9 year old junior girl scouts who were working on their jewelry badge. I remembered from when I was a girl scout that the founder was known as "Daisy Low." The girls have recently learned a few knots, so I incorporated the daisy stitch and some of the knots into a "Daisy Low Necklace." It is a jumping off point and took them about 30 minutes. Here's what they made:
